First off – do people even want to engage with chatbots?  The good folks at Xor let us know that after 1 million conversations, they saw 93% of candidates rate their interaction with the chatbot as “excellent” – that’s pretty good!

Personally, I had a great experience with a chatbot on a company’s career site.  The “AI” asked me what role I was interested in, how much experience I had, and then gave me a link to book time with a recruiter.  I then re-visited the site in an incognito window, said that I was fresh out of college, and was directed to the ATS for my call to action.  Pretty cool.

Increased Candidate Conversion

Of course, beyond experience, we need to drive value.  Well, HR Chatbots do that too.
